In 2023, CAR's UNCT-SWAP Gender ScoreCard was completed for the first time, with over 60% of indicators meeting or exceeding requirements. In fact, 5 indicators exceeded requirements, 5 meet requirements and 3 are close to them.

UN Women support the country to get : . National Strategy for the socio-economic empowerment of women and girls in the Central African Republic ; . law on parity between men and women ; . The Gender Parity Observatory . UN Women is the lead agency on gender issues in the Central African Republic, ensuring that gender is taken into account in all programs at the level of all UN agencies; . UN Women is the co-lead of the Strategic Committee on GBV issues in the country. . UN Women supports Leaders' travel to international conferences and sub-regional fairs in Douala.
