UN-Women strategically plans for and transforms its business model to deliver impact at scale, through agile and ethical leadership rooted in a continuous improvement culture
UN Women Colombia advanced business transformation by embedding agile leadership and PPG/PMR discipline to boost efficiency and value for money: 95% procurement plan execution (avg USD 9k ), USD 144.5k savings vs. plan, USD 17k cost avoidance, and year-end “Finally Close” of fully paid POs. In line with corporate guidance, travel costs were contained as the organization reported −30% overall / −44% RR travel. Contributions to BOS/UNINFO strengthened cost-efficiency tracking. A standardized PA/SG lifecycle (Programme–PME–Operations) reduced rework, strengthened monitoring, and embedded continuous improvement, enhancing financial sustainability and delivery at scale.
