In 2023, biweekly delivery monitoring was implemented and options and tools were provided so that operations processes worked efficiently.

Office mgmt led the CO as per planned strategy and related activities, as recognized by the corporate audit realized in 2024. See link: https://www.unwomen.org/sites/default/files/2024-11/un-women-audit-report-2024-011-country-office-in-colombia-en.pdf At the end of the fourth quarter, a procurement plan was consolidated with a total value of USD 2,760,165. From this plan, purchase orders (POs) amounting to USD 1,602,595 were generated. Adjustments and additions of new items were made based on the revisions. Planning management has been conducted carefully in collaboration with the Project Managers. Currently, efforts are underway to establish the procurement plan for 2025, taking into account the projects that already have an allocated budget for the new year.

UNW continues reinforcing Team competencies through training, good practice meetings, retreats, sharing experiences, and reviewing the policies and guidelines updated sent by HQ and RO. Also, via its comms strategy and the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Team, the CO strengthened its innovation practices, including the technical secretariat for CSOs calls for proposals, the capacity building initiative for CSOs, the internal gender statistics strategy, the communities of practice of Prodefensoras, etc. UN Women Colombia has enhanced the accountability process, giving support in administrative and financial processes, accompanying to partners in moving forward in amendments to agreements, and promoting the use adequate in PGMAS for reporting in FACEs and programmatic information.
