In 2024, UN Women Morocco made notable progress in transforming its business model and ensuring impact at scale, driven by agile and ethical leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Presence Governance Framework: UN Women Presence Exceeding Minimum Criteria: The office meets the requirements for presence characteristics, functional setup, and staffing numbers. The current country presence type is Small Tiers 3, despite the office working across multiple thematic areas and cross-cutting issues. The total number of personnel is 20, and more than 2 million USD (excluding CORE funding) was delivered in 2024, representing 81% of the non-CORE delivery rate. Regional and HQ Divisions Meeting Corporate Requirements: Meeting Corporate Minimum Requirements for Country Office Growth: No change. Cross-Regional Knowledge Exchange Initiatives: Promoting Innovative Practices: Significant progress was achieved in hosting cross-regional knowledge exchange initiatives, fostering collaboration and sharing promising practices.
