Outcome progress note for the year
UN-Women effectively discharges of all business processes that advance integrated delivery of its mandate at HQ, Regional and Country levels, including through shared services
In 2024, UN Women Morocco continued to strengthen its integrated delivery across the strategic mandate, focusing on shared services. The office made significant progress in using signature interventions for programming, ensuring high-quality implementation. The country office engaged with multiple UN entities, providing gender parity advice and technical assistance. Additionally, Morocco CO’s participation in south-south cooperation activities reached its target, supporting key partnerships for shared learning and development. The delivery rate for ongoing projects was maintained, with all projects either on track or achieving outputs as planned. Procurement processes were completed in line with established timeframes, reflecting the office's efficiency in resource management. The percentage of projects with outputs reported as achieved or on track also met its target. To maintain efficient administration and shared services (program, project, finance, procurement, human resources, ICT, administration, and travel), the office actively contributed to the implementation of the Business Operations Strategy (BOS). This effort aimed to streamline operational processes, reduce duplication of work across UN agencies through joint Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), and enhance partner capacity assessments as part of the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT). These initiatives have led to further improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of UN Women Morocco’s operational functions.
