A record of QBR indicators has been maintained and tracked. The key indicators for PNG include: Implementation of internal audit recommendations Addressing financial findings from the partners audit 2022 Delivery rate Improvement in timely submission of donor reporting Completion of performance planning and appraisal ICT Compliance (Intune: 100%, Infosec: 96%, Windows 11: 100%, MS Entra: 100%) PNG has made good progress in all of these areas. Internal Audit (2022) Recommendations Number of recommendations: 15 Fully addressed/implemented: 15 (100%) Partner Audit - Financial Findings Total financial findings (2022): USD 218,282 Supporting documents of eligible expenditure submitted to HQ/BDO: USD 66,463.10 Refunded to UN Women: USD 18,279.25 Write-off submitted/unresolved: USD 133,539.31 Fit for Purpose Assessment The Fit for Purpose consultant was in-country from 27 February to 16 March 2024 to facilitate a participatory process aimed at gathering additional evidence and recommendations for a Fit-for-Purpose Assessment and the Resource Mobilization Strategy. He presented the findings to the Country Office on 15 March and to the Regional Office during the week of 8 April 2024. The action items are being implemented, and progress status is periodically reported to the Regional Director by senior management. Personnel and Collaboration All personnel funded from different sources have received their salaries on time. UN Women PNGCO, in collaboration with other UN agencies, participated in 18 activities and contributed to common business in HR, procurement, ICT, security, finance, and common premises management in line with the Business Operations Strategy (BOS). The data from BOS, including the leadership role of the PNGCO Operations Manager in reviewing and planning the BOS for PNG, was appreciated by the RC and other OMT members. The common service budget was approved by the UNCT following a rigorous exercise at the OMT level.
