4.4: (Aligned to GLOBAL SP indicator O 3.6) Number of Business Process improvement and innovation initiatives (major policy revisions are included), as part of UN-Women’s continuous business transformation
0utput 3.1. UN-Women strategically plans for and transforms its business model to deliver impact at scale, through agile and ethical leadership rooted in a continuous improvement culture
Building on the functional review that was conducted in 2023 and the recommendations made by the Business Transformation Team and the Change Management team, the Office continued in 2024 to ensure that it has strategic planning and enhanced business processes. The Change management team worked closely with senior leadership and staff, and played a key role in the staff retreat during which a consultant was brought in to support the office. The team discussed how to engage in difficult conversations and underwent team bbuilding exercises. Business processes across teams were also continously tracked and recommendations on how to enhance them further will be finalized in 2025. The Wellness team continued to carry out activities to create office/team cohesion and improve the office culture. The learning and development committee promoted a learning culture in the office, often by working together with the Regional office e.g Fraud Risk management.
