Country office has major achievement on Financial, Human resources management. All requested vacancies have been filled as requested. New sub-office in Blue Nile region has established. Country office has complied with Business Continuity and crises management plan Country office has managed to liquidate aged outstanding advance and write off the doubtful debts.

The office has fully implemented regular resources and achieved 90% implementation of non-core resources. The Country office has secured no-cost extensions from donors. Security and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
Improved management of financial and human resources in pursuit of results
Regular resources have strongly helped UNW position gender equality and the empowerment of women at the center of humanitarian programming and strengthened accountability towards gender commitments in the coordination and UN -led humanitarian response. Regular resources helped fund the development of gender tip sheets, gender fact sheets and conduct a rapid and in-depth gender assessments that were recognized by OCHA as key documents to inform humanitarian response planning. Regular resources also helped create strategic partnerships with national stakeholders to better support most affected women and girls with economic resilience, protection and agency opportunities. Through the situation rooms established in three large humanitarian initiatives, 2000 displaced women and girls received and utilized 2000 dignity kits and 2000 kitchen utensils. In addition, more than 60 women IDPs were able to secure basic daily needs, thus strengthening their economic resilience. In addition, regular resources have significantly helped in position UN Women within the WPS domain. The senior gender advisor and the support provided to women led organizations and experts to participate and regional and international fora has sustained the image of the CO being the supporter of women while also amplified the voices of women for peace. For Non-core funds on the other hand, the negative effects of the war including on the bank system has delayed project implementation and thus affected the delivery rate. Despite the critical context, the Sudan office pays close attention to the use of financial resources in pursuit of results.
