Enhanced coordination, strategic partnerships and accountability of the UN system for more commitments to gender equality and women empowerment in Yemen
The coordination and strategic partnership among UN agencies was strengthened and enhanced through UN Women’s support for the International Gender Coordination Group and active engagement in Track II Coordination Meetings and additional bilateral meetings which resulted in increased harmonization, effective coordination and strategic prioritization of gaps and needs related to gender equality in Yemen.

UN Women continues to promote a culture of risk management, accountability, transparency, and harmonization of business practices. Regular coordination and planning meetings are held at the project level and country programme level. Advances are monitored closelly and new advances are better planned for. Corporate checklists are prepared and submitted on time. Knowledge genderation and RBM capacities of personnel are strengthened to inform and guide programming.
