UN Women conducted a global survey from December 2024 to January 2025 to inform our Strategic Plan 2026–2029.

The survey captured insights from over 1,400 respondents — including governments, civil society, United Nations partners and UN Women personnel. 

The report synthesizes diverse insights that have complemented the findings from consultations and focus group discussions to guide the organization’s future direction.

This brochure summarizes UN Women’s strategic note (SN) for Tunisia, 2022–2025, which provides a roadmap for improving the lives of women and girls in Tunisia. The SN articulates UN Women’s multi-year strategy, rationale, envisioned results, targets, and resource requirements for the next four years. It was developed in consultation with key national partners and in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), UN Women’s Strategic Plan 2022–2025, and key national, regional, and global gender equality priorities.

The SN contributes to the achievement of the following three agreed UNSDCF priorities, based on UN Women’s expertise and comparative advantage in the country:

• Women’s equal access to economic opportunities and decent work;
• Inclusive governance, women’s political participation and leadership; and
• Women’s participation for inclusive peacebuilding and reconciliation.
